Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals and company growth targets.
- Build, lead, and mentor a dynamic sales team, fostering a culture of achievement and collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding market share and strengthening client relationships.
- Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to align sales objectives with company goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to continuously refine the sales approach.
- Prepare and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Represent the company in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and industry events to promote brand visibility and credibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience in the logistics or shipping industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in a competitive market.
- Strong knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry, market trends, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
