Job Title: FTZ Specialist – Trade Compliance & Operations
A leading Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) consulting and compliance firm is seeking an FTZ Specialist to support clients in managing and optimizing their FTZ operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in FTZ administration, U.S. Customs compliance, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with FTZ site designation, activation, and compliance management.
- Prepare and submit FTZ documentation to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance with CBP and Foreign-Trade Zones Board requirements.
- Support clients with inventory control, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Conduct internal audits to identify and resolve compliance gaps.
- Work closely with government agencies, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on FTZ operations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in FTZ operations, customs compliance, or trade compliance.
- Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, FTZ requirements, and import/export processes.
- Experience with FTZ software and inventory tracking systems preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
