Job Description
We are recruiting a driven and experienced Project Forwarding Business Development Manager to join a global leader in project logistics, specializing in complex and oversized cargo solutions. This is a remote position based in Germany, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing team dedicated to delivering innovative and efficient logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the project logistics sector, focusing on industries such as energy, construction, and heavy machinery.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored project forwarding solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at expanding market share within Germany and internationally.
  • Project Management Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless project execution from proposal to delivery, coordinating resources and timelines.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify emerging opportunities and enhance service offerings.
  • Quotation and Tender Management: Prepare competitive quotations, and lead tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client specifications and profitability targets.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales in project logistics, with a strong understanding of OOG (Out of Gauge), heavy lift, and complex project cargo.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of success within the project forwarding industry, particularly in handling large-scale logistics for specialized sectors.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and account growth.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
