Responsibilities
- Leverage existing book of business to drive revenue growth and establish new customer relationships
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while managing and expanding current client portfolios
- Cultivate strong, long-term customer relationships through regular communication, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Proactively seek and pursue high-value sales prospects within the ocean freight industry
- Lead negotiations and present service offerings to clients, effectively closing deals and driving sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions for clients
- Track and analyze performance metrics, making adjustments to strategies as needed to meet sales goals
Qualifications
- Proven track record with 3+ years of sales experience, particularly in ocean freight or logistics
- A well-established book of business and a strong network of industry contacts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Skilled in negotiating and closing complex deals
- Self-driven, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
