Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding, including air, ocean, and domestic logistics services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their supply chain needs and providing customized solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services to new clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients while ensuring profitability and service excellence.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s brand and services.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of air, ocean, and domestic freight services, including import/export regulations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
