Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Sales Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed company objectives in the international air and ocean freight markets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients and prospects across the air and ocean freight domains, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging your transferable book of business to broaden the customer base and drive revenue.
  • Tailored Solutions Presentation: Develop and present customized logistics solutions that address client needs, ensuring effective closure of sales deals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service execution and optimal delivery of client expectations.
  • Market Intelligence Monitoring: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that resonate with potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Performance Metrics Analysis: Track and evaluate sales performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with growth objectives.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the international freight forwarding industry, with a strong emphasis on air and ocean logistics.
  • Proven Sales Success: Documented history of achieving gross profit goals and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Hunter Mentality: Strong entrepreneurial drive with a transferable book of business within the logistics sector.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Industry Acumen: Comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to international air and ocean freight forwarding.
