Job Title: Airfreight Specialist
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Salary: Up to €65,000

Alitus Talent is partnering with a growing German freight forwarder seeking experienced Airfreight Specialists to join their team based in Frankfurt. The company operates two offices in Germany and six additional offices worldwide, offering a global presence and career growth opportunities across the globe.
Position Overview:
As an Airfreight Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end airfreight process, with a primary focus on exports and some import activities. This role involves handling the complete forwarding process, from pricing and procurement to tender management. You will also play a key role in maintaining and developing relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire airfreight process from start to finish, with a focus on export operations.
• Handle import processes as needed.
• Coordinate pricing, procurement, and tender management activities.
• Maintain and manage key customer accounts.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient freight handling.
• Communicate effectively with both local and international offices.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in airfreight operations, preferably within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong knowledge of export and import procedures.
• Experience in pricing, procurement, and tender management.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in German and English.
