Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end air freight operations, including booking, documentation, and tracking shipments.
- Coordinate with airlines, agents, and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of cargo.
- Ensure compliance with all international and domestic air freight regulations, including TSA and customs requirements.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, such as air waybills and customs declarations.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any operational issues or delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed about shipment status and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Assist with rate negotiations and ensure profitability on all shipments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in air freight operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of air freight regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in freight management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, carriers, and team members.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs requirements is a plus.
